RideReserve Chauffeur Driven Rental Agreement
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our car rental services.
1. Introduction
This agreement applies to chauffeur-driven bookings with RideReserve (RR), operated by Cconnectt Ex Limited. It forms part of your booking together with our Terms & Conditions. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.
2. Booking and Payment
Your booking confirmation records the vehicle category, rental period, location and charges. Rental payments must be made online through RR’s approved payment channels. No security deposit is required for chauffeur-driven rentals.
3. Assigned Driver
Only the driver assigned or authorised by RR may drive the vehicle. The renter and passengers must not drive it or arrange a replacement driver.
4. Driver’s Meals and Accommodation
The renter is responsible for providing the driver with suitable accommodation and meals throughout the rental period. Accommodation is required where an overnight stay is necessary. RR is responsible for the driver’s daily allowance.
5. Journey and Additional Expenses
The vehicle must be used for the journey and purposes agreed with RR. Changes to destinations, routes or the rental period require RR’s approval and may affect the price.
Responsibility for fuel, tolls, parking and other journey expenses must be stated in the booking confirmation or agreed in writing before travel. Additional charges must be disclosed and agreed before they are incurred.
6. Safety and Conduct
Passengers must wear seat belts and respect the vehicle’s seating capacity. Smoking, illegal activities, dangerous goods and abusive behaviour are prohibited.
The driver may refuse unsafe or unlawful instructions. Journey schedules must allow reasonable rest breaks; a multi-day booking does not provide continuous, round-the-clock driving.
7. Vehicle Care and Responsibility
The renter is responsible for reasonable, documented repair or cleaning costs resulting from damage or excessive soiling caused by the renter or their passengers.
The renter is not responsible for ordinary wear, mechanical faults or damage caused by RR’s driver. Nothing in this agreement excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Rental Period and Extensions
Collection and return are between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Extensions require RR’s approval and payment of the applicable charges.
Where the renter causes the service to continue beyond the agreed end time, the following charges apply:
- Up to 2 hours: Grace period.
- More than 2 hours and up to 4 hours: GHS 300.
- More than 4 hours: One additional rental day, replacing the GHS 300 charge.
These charges do not apply to delays caused by RR or its driver. Payment of an additional day does not automatically approve an extension.
9. Cancellation and Rescheduling
The cancellation, refund and rescheduling policies in RR’s Terms & Conditions apply. Early completion after the rental begins does not qualify for a refund for unused days.
If RR cannot provide the booked service and no alternative is accepted, RR will refund the amount paid for that booking in full.
10. Breakdowns and Incidents
Report breakdowns, accidents, safety concerns or driver complaints to RR promptly. RR will coordinate assistance and communicate available arrangements.
The renter must not authorise repairs or make commitments on RR’s behalf without approval.
11. Governing Law and Acceptance
This agreement is governed by the laws of Ghana, without limiting any applicable statutory rights.
By accepting it at checkout, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms applicable to your chauffeur-driven booking.
